Earlier versions of Windows operating system are not compatible with UTF8 format. While Windows XP comes with UTF8 support.

To view Gujarati fonts on this website on your PC you need to download shruti fonts.

Bharatbhai's extensive search found URL which will allow you to download "Shruti" fonts for free.

(The fonts have been installed successfully on windows 98, 98SE, ME and 2000. It works fine. You should have Internet Explorer 5.5 and above.)

After downloading they can be installed on your PC as following:

1. click on Start -> settings -> control panel
2. double click on fonts.
3. Click on File in Toolbar -> Install New font
4. Select the location where the font is downloaded.
5. Click on OK

You have successfully installed the fonts now.

To check whether font works or not go to "what's new" section of this website and click on Mota Charne"

If you can see Mota Charne in Gujarati without clicking on link to go to PDF format,
Fonts are intalled successfully.
